What happened with the canyon's?
It seems to my its getting delayed over and over..
Almost 7 months back there was told it was almost finished..
Only needed to tweak a few things..

And so far nothing about it anymore..
Will it ever come? are deleted forever?

And if it will come, can you give us a aprox date?

We actually never said that they were already finished, however, Marc did say that they were 95% completed. By this he meant that new area itself was almost ready.

Right now the team is not working on adding any new areas to the game therefore I can't offer anymore information in regards to when / if they will be released.

One thing to note is that we never wanted to just release the canyons. IF we do end up bringing them into the game we want to implement them in conjunction with another feature such as a new game mode (for example, canyon duels) or new circuit/sprint/TE/PO events. So while the areas themselves might be close to finished there is still a lot of work to be done in order to actually add them to the game.

Thanks for answer in HONKE1`s thread, but I cant understand your logic. Isn´t it possible to make a poll, if the community wants to wait until the team finished a new game mode taking place in the canyons or if the community wants the canyons to be released as fast as possible. At least for free roam to cruise around and make photos.
Pls ask the community Drew, it would be better to hear what they want.

We could do this but you have to understand that if we poll the community we'll poll the entire community not just the players on the forum. We de-prioritized Canyons because the feedback we received from the entire community was that you wanted a new game mode, specifically drag mode, before anything else.

We are working on another new feature right now and after that I'm not sure what the team plans to work on but we take the feedback from the community very seriously and it will be taken into account with our future plans.
